Lessons

Piano lessons are mainly taught in English and planned every month for every student individually. On request the lessons can be taught in Dutch, Romanian, Russian, or Ukrainian.

Approximately 10 days before every next month the students send their request and agree to a specific amount of lessons which will be booked. The payment plan has to be agreed before the start of the lessons and signed through an agreement form. Students cannot switch from basic to premium plan in the same month .
Refunds

Refunds are only possible for Premium plan students or if the teacher has cancelled the lesson, or has fallen sick. No exceptions are made for any last minute health related issues of the Basic plan student. No refunds for vouchers.
Cancellations

In case of cancellations the student must inform the teacher at least 48 hours before the lesson via WhatsApp. Not complying with this term will make the student lose the lesson without any refund or reschedule possibility. For the premium plan cancellations are possible up to 4 hours before the lesson by sending a message to the teacher via WhatsApp.
Lesson fees

Lessons that have been booked and agreed on have to be paid through tikkie or bank transfer maximum 48 hours before the first lesson of the new month, otherwise they will automatically be cancelled. Trial classes have to be paid maximum 24 hours before the agreed lesson, otherwise the trial class will be cancelled.

The prices displayed on the website are final and not open for any discount or negotiation. For lessons at student’s place see section additional charges.
Liability

APA is not liable for any accidents or damages that occurred either during the students’ travel to or from the lesson and accidents or damages that occurred during the lesson. The student or their parents/caretakers may be made liable for damages APA incurred during the lesson (e.g. damage to an instrument).
Additional charges

For lessons at the student’s place there is an additional charge of 5 euros per lesson for short distances (2 km max.) and 10 euros for long distances (10km max.) from the teacher’s place within Amsterdam city.
Rescheduling lessons

Rescheduling is possible under the conditions stated at Cancellations. Students with Basic plan can reschedule a certain lesson only once and those with Premium plan twice.
